Well hello again! We are back in Rome and we arrived last night. Ok, starting with last week. After email on Wednesday we taught a few good lessons and then on Thursday afternoon we went to Palermo and flew from island to island. That was fun and we were on a really small plane. Well I say really small but it fit like 40 people instead of the usual like 150-200 people planes we fly in. But it went really smooth and we were then able to work with the missionaries in Cagliari for a few days and on Sunday we went to the district conf for Sardegnia. That was pretty cool and then after we had zone conf with all the missionaries from Sardegnia. Then on Monday morning we flew home to Rome and then got ready to leave again on Tuesday morning for Naples. It usually is a two hour drive to Naples but it ended up being a 4 hour drive because of traffic. But we arrived and the conference went well. From this point we had planned to do splits with the zone leaders in Naples but president had a more important job for us to do on Wednesday morning in Rome so we came back with him Tuesday night and did what he needed on Wednesday and then left for Bari on Wednesday afternoon.
The splits in Bari went well Thursday and then yesterday morning presidents car broke down as they were coming the Bari zone conf. The car broke down closer to Rome then Bari so I grabbed the keys to one of the mission cars down there and took a zone leader with me to go pick up all the stuff that president was supposed to be bringing to the conference while another car came from Rome to pick up president and Sister Kelly. It took about 6 hours for the whole trip and Anziano McDaniel taught the conference from the notes he took from President and Sister Kelly’s presentation. Then we jumped on a train and made it back to Rome that day. So 10 hours of my day yesterday was spent either driving or riding the train haha. It was fun tho and the zone leader with me was from my mtc district so that was really fun to get to spend some time with him.
I’m doing well and tomorrow we leave for Malta and we will be back on Wednesday so I might or might not be able to write on Wednesday I’m not sure. Life is going well and traveling is fun but things will be slowing down in a few weeks but then on the 7-10 of December Elder Causse from the area presidency will be doing a mission tour so we will be traveling the mission again in three weeks. That will be fun because we will get to spend lots of time with a member of the 70. I hope all is well and that things are going great.
