October 30

hellllloooobooooo are you scared? haha I know it's your fav holiday tomorrow ;) so happy Halloween. I’m doing great and we got home from Statte late last night and this morning did some service for some people in the ward. Nope unfortunately that isn’t the side of my head haha bummer but we weren’t invited to go to the groundbreaking. It sure was cool and we got to pick up the president from the Milan mission and take him to the mission home and then we took them back. Also on Saturday morning we picked up a family from Sardinia and brought them to the temple site and then we had to leave before anything started. It went well and driving the 9 seater van with 9 people is always fun haha. And then on Sunday we were able to see the rebroadcast of the groundbreaking event and that was really cool. The members are excited and they have already started a little dirt work and cut a lot of brush out. It’s a really fun time to be in Italy with all this stuff going down and I was able to get a program of the ground breaking ceremony. Also we have been giving quite a few rides to the head builder/supervisor of the temple. He is a really nice man from England and has worked on like 6 or 7 temples.
Then on Monday and Tuesday we met with pres and did some other stuff for him and on Wednesday a greeny arrived from the mtc so we took him on a tour of Rome and showed him the coliseum and the pantheon and Trevi fountain and a few of the stuff in between. Rome is a cool city. Then we took the greeny down to Taranto and did splits with the zl in Statte. That was really fun and there was an activity planned that night and so I was able to see all the members down there. That was really cool and Carmen was there and I got a picture with her. She is for sure my favorite investigator so far and her 16 and 12 year old kids are really cool too. Then we came home and talked to some really cool people on the train ride home. Boy, that’s a pretty long ride....when you go through Napoli and Potenza from Taranto to Rome it took like 8.5 hours. I’m doing great and in this coming week we have zone leader council and then the Rome zone conf. In this round of zone conf president will be talking a lot about obedience and stuff. That will be good because obedience is one of the easiest things to do but for some it’s one of the hardest mind battles.
Hope all is well and tell everyone hi for me.
