November 11

Well hello...this has been the craziest, most fun week ever haha. Well last Thursday was normal but Friday night we left for Statte where we were going to sleep before zone conf the next day....we left the house for our 20 min walk to the station and it then started to rain....rain harder....and then the hardest I have ever seen :).. I have the big umbrella and the only thing that was dry was my shoulders and head. I think the rain was going every way but up, haha but it was fun....We then finally made it to Statte and got everything dry and left for Cosenza by bus...we arrived there and had an hour till conf so we got some food. Then at conf we had Elder Kerr of one of the 70s and that was a really good conf and he was an amazing speaker. We left for home late by train and got to the station in Taranto around at nine thirty and took a bus to Brindisi and we arrived there around 1145. We went to the train station but the train to Lecce was canceled so we slept in Brindisi with the Anziani there. We left for Lecce on Sunday morning and got to our house twenty min before we had to leave for church and then went to church and from church an appointment with some members and then to another appointment and then did some street and finally made it home that night, in the morning we then left for Brindisi again for district meeting and president and sister Taranto came to do interviews, and then Tuesday, yesterday turned out pretty normal but that was a really fun weekend and I have found that I really like to travel here and switch bus and train and talk to people on the way and its quite fun. :) So yeah that was about the gist of my week. Sister Taranto said that like half the other missionaries have the flu of some sort but my companion and I are doing great health wise and we are going to go play some frisbee when we are done here.
Yep, it’s just us two here in Lecce and the shower is tall enough with one of those infinite water heaters outside in a little room with our washing machine so the water stays hot for as long as you want it too :) and we have a big fridge with a no frost freezer its great. I also have my own room for my clothes, a room with our beds and a room with our desks to study and two bathrooms :) life is good.
The church is true and the weather is beautiful just like serving the lord.
Love you both, Anziano Hansen
